Here is much information about the Stolen Back History in our country. I have been more amazed at this information than anything I have learned from my association with the Tea Party and 9/12 movements. The extent to which the Left has gone to hide this information is unbelievable. Of course we wouldn't have the first black President being a Democrat and we probably wouldn't even have a Democrat party if this information was taught in schools today.

The First Slave in America
I don't want to minimize how bad slavery was but I want to stick to the truth. America was a small player in the slavery game. Portugal happens to have the record but you never hear about that. Libya even has black slaves today, as of right now after the glorious revolution we helped them with. The problem is they won't let it just be history in America.
The truth: Indentured servants were very common before America was formed. Normally a person would enter into a contract for say 7 years, which was a very common time frame. They would basically be a slave to the person for that time and at the end they would receive money or land or whatever was agreed upon.
Anthony Johnson had an Indentured Servant named John Casor that kept running away before his contract was up. Anthony took him to court and John's punishment was to become a slave for life to Mr. Johnson. The reason this history was buried was because John Casor was black but so was Anthony Johnson. So a black man was the first slave owner in America. This was under British law and over 100 years before the American Declaration of Independence. So!! The truth is, slavery was legal under British law and America managed to abolish it after many years and a Civil War.
